This Fall’s nice weather has allowed the club’s youth group a chance to get together for a spooky night out. On October 23rd, the club sponsored a hair-raising good time at the Crazy Corn Maze. With flashlights in hand, the kids attempted to make their way through the 9ft. Thiket of corn husk. Leading the pack of terrified kids was Dorothy Henderson. She and the kids ventured out after dark and experienced the essence of creepy-crawly pre-Halloween excitement. They followed up the evening by warming themselves over hot cocoa. There were twelve frightened kids in attendance, ranging in ages from 5 to thirteen. Everyone had a spine tingling good time and all plan to make this an annual club event. This month our meeting has been moved from the 1st Saturday in November to Saturday, November 13th, 1999. The meeting will be held at Canyon Sports LTD @ 6:00pm. Canyon Sports LTD is located at 1844 East 7000 South in a strip-mall neat Papa John’s Pizza and Hunan Express, just off Fort Union Blvd. They’ll also host an informative seminar for all who attend. Their representatives will be on-hand to discuss what to wear to keep yourself properly insulated this season. This is a meeting you won’t want to miss! We’ll be offering a 10% discount on all non-sale merchandise to anyone who purchases their $30 club membership that evening. Uintah Soul on Snow Sports Club will also be handing out free gifts to those who attend so don’t miss out. This is an excellent opportunity to purchase your membership, get helpful ski tips and meet fellow skiiers, all at once. We’ll ski ya there!
